This position is part-time and is designed to accommodate the varying demands of our clients and students. We prioritize understanding your preferences and qualifications to ensure a perfect match with students who need your expertise. The number of hours you will work depends on the needs of the students, but there is ample opportunity to increase your hours based on your performance and the demand for tutoring services. As a tutor, you will assist students in targeted subject areas through individual or group tutoring sessions. You will also have the opportunity to host workshops on selected topics, model and encourage collaborative study strategies, create and manage educational resources, and contribute to a friendly and productive learning environment. You will be expected to commute to students' residences or meet at public locations to conduct tutoring sessions, ensuring flexibility and accessibility for your students.
Responsibilities

Requirements
Must be able to do both remote and in-person tutoring.

Has a personal vehicle.

Has a laptop/computer and good internet connection.

Must have taken major math, science, and English courses (Algebra, Calculus, Biology, etc.).
Nice-to-haves
Effective interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to relate to students with various academic levels and needs.

Previous tutoring & teaching experience is preferred.

A college degree is preferred.
