As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving customer inquiries, and working towards solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, dynamic team and make a tangible difference in the lives of our customers. **Key Responsibilities** * Take inbound calls to answer customer questions and work towards a solution (40-50 calls per day) * Make outbound calls to customers when available (90-120+ calls per day) and use various collection strategies to collect on past due bills * Answer customer questions regarding bills and provide options on how to pay or negotiate payment in full or set up payment arrangements * Manage and review accounts to identify adjustments, discrepancies, and create a request for resolution * Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and provide exceptional customer experiences **Qualifications** * 1+ year of customer service experience (in-person or over the phone) * Proven ability to perform well with upset customers face-to-face or over the phone * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams * Basic computer skills, including restarting a computer, using an internet browser, Microsoft Office, and typing * Ability to multi-task, with strong listening skills and proven reliability/punctuality in past positions * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred **Essential Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications * Strong listening skills and ability to empathize with customers * Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working in a call center or customer service environment * Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software * Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements * Bilingual or multilingual skills **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their careers.
