Global oilfield services company is seeking to immediately hire 2nd Shift Laborers. These laborers are responsible for accurately and efficiently assembling components and equipment used in oilfield operations. Ā Second Shift: Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM, Pay rate is $20 per hour.
Position type: Contract-to-hire. Conversion to permanent employee is possible after 3-4 month initial period, depending on worker performance.
Responsibilities:
Ā Assemble components and equipment according to plans and technical specifications.
Ā Use manual and power tools to perform assembly operations with precision.
Ā Verify the conformity of parts and assemblies with established specifications and quality standards.
Ā Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address assembly issues and propose improvements.
Ā Follow safety procedures and work protocols to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.
Ā Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
Ā Participate in training new employees and in the continuous improvement of assembly processes.
Requirements:
Ā Previous experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in the oilfield or manufacturing sector.
Ā Ability to read and interpret technical plans and assembly diagrams. Proficiency in using manual and power tools for assembly.
Ā Attention to detail and ability to work with precision to ensure assembly quality.
Ā Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly and effectively.
Ā Knowledge of safety standards and commitment to safe work practices.
Ā Flexibility to adapt to changes in priorities and tasks in a dynamic environment
Ā Must be physically able to lift heavy items (may be up to 50 lbs.) above and below shoulder height, and perform continuous standing, walking, reaching, and bending
Ā Must be able to stand for long periods to perform the work
