They are seeking an Entry Level Technical Accounting Advisory Consultant who will evaluate financial statements for compliance with GAAP, develop financial reporting packages, and assist clients in implementing GAAP standards. Responsibilities Evaluating reported financial statements for compliance with GAAP and developing standardized daily/weekly/monthly financial reporting packages (including KPIs and trend analysis) Developing and assisting with internal/external liquidity management reporting requirements Development of accounting and finance tools/templates for use on future client engagements Collaborating with other consultants and clients for continuous improvement recommendations Helping consulting teams implement GAAP standards at clients (e.g. ASC606, ASC842, ASC805, cash to GAAP conversion) Skills Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance with a minor in accounting, or a related field Academic success (a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0) Detail-oriented leader with problem-solving, communication, critical thinking, organizational, and technical skills On track to complete the requisite degree and supporting credits to sit for the CPA exam, with the goal of successfully obtaining your CPA license Proficiency with Excel Benefits Health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance Flexible Time Off Various pre-determined holidays 401(k) plan Flexible benefits plans Business-related travel expense Lodging, and meal reimbursement for business-related use A pension plan is also available for eligible administrative and paraprofessional staff A discretionary bonus plan is available for eligible staff Some contingent staff positions the option to elect health insurance in addition to limited paid sick time Company Overview Plante Moran is an accounting and business advisory firm that offers audit, accounting, tax, and business advisory consulting services.
