We are dedicated to growing and developing our employees as we build strong teams with strategic leadership.Job Description:As part of the Account Finance and Reporting team, the successful candidate will gather, process and present data to aid in informed decision-making within the organization. They will work closely with senior analysts and managers to ensure accurate and timely reporting to achieve the team’s delivery goals, such as providing timely, accurate, complete information in an efficient manner. Additionally, this candidate will seek out areas for streamlining and process improvements in daily operations for end-to-end business processes.Report Generation: o Maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Excel, SQL, PowerBI o Responsible for the preparation and delivery of periodic, existing management reports o Support distribution of reports and informationData Collection: o Upload and download data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and various platforms o Prepare ad hoc data queriesData Analysis: o Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions o Doing data analysis and production support dealing with issues such as bad data, formatting, etc.Quality Assurance: o Reconcile and validate data to ensure accuracy and consistency o Assist in data reconciliations supporting enterprise data store initiativeCollaboration: o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide analytical support for specific projectsAutomation and Documentation: o Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes to increase efficiency as well as document data sources, methodologies and report templates for future referenceSpecial projects as neededQualifications:Required skills - 1-3+ years of finance or data analytics related experience, preferred to have insurance knowledge or backgroundIntermediate level SQL and Excel experience, adept at queries, report writing and presenting findingsKnowledge of and experience with reporting tools & databases (SQL Server & PowerBI)Excellent problem solving and analytical skillsExcellent organization skills, attention to detail and high level of accuracyExcellent critical thinking skills to flag data issuesComfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative teamAdditional Information:Education - B.S. Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology Data Analytics or equivalent
