2024 Summer Internship - Corporate Risk (Masters)

At Wells Fargo, our Corporate Risk team provides independent oversight of risk-taking activities, ensuring the company's risk management program is effective and aligned with our business strategies. As a summer intern, you will be part of a professional development program designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of our company's operations, business strategies, and corporate culture.
Program Overview: The Corporate Risk Development Summer Program is a pipeline program that offers master's students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in risk management, compliance, and financial services. The program includes relationship building, relevant work assignments, coaching, performance feedback sessions, group projects, and informative learning sessions with key leaders.
Responsibilities:
Review and analyze policies and procedures related to low-to-medium risk tasks and deliverables
Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Develop understanding of compliance and risk management requirements
Perform analysis and research on emerging risks and provide recommendations
Produce performance monitoring and benchmarks regarding growth, mix, delinquency, losses, and overall profitability and performance
Requirements:
Master's degree candidate from a 2-year program with an expected graduation of December 2024 - May/June 2025
6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
Demonstrated interest in the fields of IT, STEM, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Law, Accounting, and/or Analytics
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
