Our Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical Client is seeking detail-oriented Remote Prior Authorization Specialists to join their healthcare team. In this role, you will process prior authorization requests, verify insurance coverage, and collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure timely approvals.
Ā Position: Remote Prior Authorization Specialist
Ā Pay: $17/hr. Full-time with Weekly Pay plus Benefits
Ā Schedule: 8am-8pm CST. M-Fri (8hr Shift between these hours)
Ā Equipment Provided
Ā MUST RESIDE IN EITHER ONE OF THESE US STATES (AZ,KY,UT,TX,GA or FL) FOR CONSIDERATION
Ā Start Date: November 2024
Job Duties:
Ā Submit and track prior authorization requests via Inbound and outbound calls.
Ā Verify patients medical insurance eligibility and coverage.
Ā Communicate with providers and insurers regarding patients to ensure compliance.
Ā Maintain accurate records of approvals and denials.
Qualifications: MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEAR OR MORE OF MEDICAL BENEFITS EXPERIENCE (NO EXCEPTIONS)
Ā Call center experience preferred but not required
Ā Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance policies
Ā Experience in healthcare or insurance is preferred
Ā Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ā Excellent communication abilities
