Our Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical Client is seeking detail-oriented Medical Benefits Specialists to join their healthcare team. In this role, you will process prior authorization requests, verify insurance coverage, and collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure timely approvals.
Position: Remote Medical Benefits Specialist
Pay: $17/hr. Weekly Pay plus Benefits
Schedule: 8am-8pm CST. M-Fri (8hr Shift between these hours)
Equipment Provided
Start Date: November 2024
Ā **MUST BE ABLE TO PICK UP IN IRVING, TX***
Job Duties:
Ā Submit and track prior authorization requests via outbound call.
Ā Verify patient insurance eligibility
Ā Communicate with providers and insurers
Ā Maintain accurate records of approvals and denials
Ā Assist with appeals for denied authorizations
Qualifications: MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEAR OR MORE OF MEDICAL BENEFITS EXPERIENCE (NO EXCEPTIONS)
Ā ***MUST BE ABLE TO PICK UP IN IRVING, TX***
Ā Call center experience preferred but not required
Ā Experience in healthcare or insurance is preferred
Ā Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ā Excellent communication abilities
