Position Summary
We are seeking a licensed psychiatric professional to provide part-time telehealth services to clients in a behavioral health and substance use treatment setting. This role is ideal for a professional looking to supplement their current practice while supporting individuals in recovery. Services will be provided remotely for approximately 2β3 hours per week.
Responsibilities
The Psychiatric Professional will:
Conduct psychiatric evaluations via telehealth as needed
Provide medication management services to clients
Review client medical and behavioral health histories
Collaborate with clinical staff, including counselors, case managers, and medical providers
Provide recommendations for treatment planning and medication adjustments
Complete required documentation in a timely and compliant manner
Participate in occasional case consultations with the clinical team
Ensure all services comply with state licensing requirements and telehealth regulations
Qualifications
Licensed Psychiatrist (MD/DO), Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), or other appropriately licensed psychiatric professional
Active and unrestricted professional license in the state of Pennsylvania
Experience working with mental health and/or substance use disorder populations preferred
Experience with telehealth platforms preferred
Strong communication and clinical assessment skills
Ability to work independently as an independent contractor
Schedule & Commitment
Approximately 2β3 hours per week
Flexible scheduling based on client needs and provider availability
Services provided remotely through a secure telehealth platform
Compensation
Paid as an independent contractor (1099)
Hourly or per-client rate (to be discussed based on experience and credentials)
