Role Overview
The QA Analyst – Zuora RevPro is responsible for ensuring end-to-end quality assurance of revenue recognition processes within Zuora Revenue (RevPro) and its upstream and downstream integrations. This role focuses on delivering accurate, compliant, and auditable revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 / IFRS 15 standards through comprehensive functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing. The QA Analyst works closely with Finance, Business Systems, and Technology teams to validate contract lifecycle, performance obligations, revenue schedules, and revenue release logic.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform end-to-end QA testing of revenue recognition across the complete Order-to-Revenue (O2R) lifecycle in Zuora RevPro.
• Validate revenue data flow from upstream systems (e.g., Salesforce/CPQ, PSA/Certinia, D365) into Zuora RevPro, including contract ingestion and processing.
• Test revenue contract creation, performance obligations, allocation rules, revenue schedules, and revenue release events within RevPro.
• Validate complex revenue scenarios, including:
• Contract amendments, renewals, and terminations
• Multi-element arrangements
• Percentage-of-completion and milestone-based revenue recognition
• Manual revenue journal entries and approval workflows
• Design, develop, and execute System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression test cases with full traceability to business and functional requirements.
• Verify RevPro outputs such as revenue postings, deferred revenue balances, and reconciliation reports against source system data.
• Log, track, and manage defects in collaboration with Business Systems Analysts and development teams; support resolution and retesting cycles.
• Support UAT execution with Finance and Revenue Accounting teams, including preparation of test evidence and sign-off documentation.
• Participate in period-end and performance testing to ensure RevPro handles high-volume revenue processing within required timelines.
• Contribute to test strategy, test plans, execution summaries, and QA documentation to support audits and compliance requirements.
