Zoom/Teams/Google Meets Moderator/Producer: Help Create Dynamic Virtual Events!
We are seeking a highly organized and tech-savvy individual to join our team as a Virtual events Moderator/Producer. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and producing virtual meetings and events on the Zoom/Teams/Google Meets platform.
Responsibilities:
Ā Manage virtual meetings and webinars, including scheduling, setup, and troubleshooting technical issues
Ā Assist presenters and participants with technical support during meetings and events
Ā Monitor chat and Q&A functions to ensure that questions are answered in a timely and appropriate manner
Ā Provide support for presenters, including managing their slides and facilitating their presentations
Ā Conduct rehearsals and run-throughs before events to ensure a seamless experience
Ā Collaborate with event planners and other stakeholders to ensure that events run smoothly
SPECIFIC Producer responsibilities include the following (unless otherwise agreed to before the session):
Ā Joining/opening the sessions 30 minutes prior to start time
Ā Playing upbeat music for participants waiting in main virtual room
Ā Verbally welcoming participants Ā including informing them to update their first and last name in the participant list to receive proper session credit.
Ā Introducing Facilitator
Ā Handling any minor technical issues / assisting instructor and participants
Ā Demonstrating for participants how to use the required virtual platform features (i.e., whiteboard, breakouts, etc.)
Ā Advancing PPT slides (unless the instructor prefers advancing their own)
Ā Facilitating a team building/ice breaker for participants at return after session breaks.
Ā Monitoring the chat / sharing program links via chat
Ā Managing all session activities (including sharing virtual activity timer with participants)
Ā Opening/managing/closing breakout sessions
Ā Opening/managing/closing whiteboard activities
Ā Opening/managing/closing Polls
Ā Playing any included videos
Ā Closing virtual classroom at end of the session
Requirements:
Ā Excellent technical skills, including ADVANCED proficiency with Zoom/Teams/Google Meets and related technologies
Ā Strong organizational skills and ATTENTION TO DETAIL
Ā An understanding of corporate Learning & Development needs
Ā Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
Ā Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ā Experience in virtual event planning and production is preferred
