Zapier debugging expert needed
I run a small tutoring company and am trying to automate our client intake process through Zapier. I am a teacher—not a coder—and have probably spent over a hundred hours designing an automation system that meets our needs across Google Workspace, Zapier, and Acuity Scheduler.
The system needs to be debugged, and the causes of all these error messages elude me. I would also appreciate a professional eye to point out opportunities to simplify the logic and streamline the workflows so that I can save money on my zaps! It's certainly not as elegant/optimized as it could be.
Our intake process involves the client filling out a Google Form which creates/updates a Google Contact for both parent and student, creates/updates a Stripe contact, and creates/updates a student Acuity profile. It involves branching pathways and sub-zaps for several different scenarios: client is student, client is not student, client wants text updates, client wants students to get text updates, student has a new preferred name.... It's a lot. Honestly, I'm super proud of myself for building the system I've built, but it's time I called in a pro for debugging and general smoothing of the logic. I keep running into this error where the zap for returning clients struggles to recognize data from a sub-zap that searches for an existing student in Google Contacts.
