YouTube Video Proofwatcher (Quality Control)
About Us We run a network of popular YouTube channels covering history, true crime, science, and current events. Our videos reach millions of viewers each month, and maintaining a high standard of quality is essential. We’re looking for detail-oriented proofwatchers to join our team and review videos before they go live. The Role Your job will be to carefully watch videos before publication and flag anything that would stand out to viewers as an error. You won’t be editing videos yourself, but you’ll act as the final quality-control step before release. What You’ll Be Checking For: • Repeated or duplicated sentences • Dropped frames, glitches, or rendering issues • Missing or incorrect media (images, clips, graphics) • Out-of-sync audio or obvious cuts • Any other issues that might lead to viewer complaints in the comments What We’re Looking For: - Sharp eye for detail and patience to watch through entire videos - Good communication skills (able to clearly flag errors with timestamps and notes) - Reliability — meeting deadlines is crucial - Previous experience with YouTube content, video editing, or QC is a plus but not required Workload & Pay - Videos range from 15 to 60+ minutes in length - Flexible, remote work — you can be based anywhere - Paid per hour.
