YouTube Video Editor Needed (High Volume, Long-Term – 1.5M+ Views Channel) - Contract to Hire
I run a fast-growing YouTube channel in the Warhammer 40K space (Grimdark Breakdown), currently generating ~1.5M monthly views.
I’m looking to hire 1–2 long-term video editors to support consistent weekly content across both short-form and long-form videos.
Before hiring, I’ll run a paid test project (1 short + 1 long-form video) with a few editors to find the best fit.
This is a high-volume, ongoing opportunity for the right person.
Scope of Work:
Weekly Volume:
10–20 YouTube Shorts
3–5 Long-Form Videos (20–40 minutes each)
Responsibilities:
Edit clean, fast-paced YouTube content
Cut all dead space and improve pacing
Add light zooms/punch-ins for emphasis
Add minimal text where it improves clarity
Maintain consistent style across videos
Editing Style Requirements:
Clean and engaging (not over-edited)
No meme-style or excessive effects
Focus on retention and watchability
