YouTube Video Editor (DaVinci Resolve) — $150/Video | Ongoing Work
Hey there! I run a music production YouTube channel (17K subs) where I teach home studio producers how to mix better, finish tracks, and get pro results without burnout.
I’m looking for a reliable, detail-oriented video editor to join my team on a per-video basis ($150/video)—with the potential to become a long-term partner as we grow.
What You’ll Be Editing:
A mix of talking head and tutorial-style videos (screen capture, plugin walkthroughs, gear demos, etc.)
Final edits range from 7–30 minutes
Each video includes:
Clean cuts and pacing
Light text overlays / titles / backdrops
Some light B-roll or image support (assets provided)
No heavy effects or animations required
Your Mission:
Help me post 1 high-quality video per week—without me getting stuck in the editing chair.
What I’ll Provide:
Full scripts + audio + video assets
My DaVinci Resolve template
Cloud collaboration via DaVinci Resolve Cloud + Google Drive
Clear feedback and coaching (if needed)
You’re a Good Fit If You:
Edit using DaVinci Resolve and are comfortable working in Resolve Cloud
Can turn around a first cut in 5 days
Care about timing, pacing, and detail
Are open to coaching, direction, and improving over time
Can follow a creative brief and keep edits clean, pro, and engaging
Want to grow with a channel that’s scaling fast
Details:
$150 per video (4 videos/month to start)
Rate and volume will increase as the channel grows
Looking to trial someone on 1 video—with the goal of ongoing, consistent work
