YouTube Scriptwriter. Audience Retention (US History & Culture – Native English) We are creating a YouTube channel focused on US culture, history, and ancestral roots. We are looking for a native English scriptwriter who can research and transform cultural and historical topics into captivating YouTube scripts. Scripts designed to hook viewers, maximize retention, and increase watch time. Your Role: •Write 8–12 minute YouTube scripts (1,200–1,500 words). • Create strong hooks in the first 30 seconds. • Use storytelling techniques: cliffhangers, emotional tension, humor, and drama. • Adapt style to US audience (idioms, humor, cultural references). • Deliver 1-2 scripts weekly (long-term collaboration). Your Role: • STRUCTURE SCRIPTS TO KEEP VIEWERS WATCHING UNTIL THE END. • CREATE STRONG HOOKS IN THE FIRST 30 SECONDS. • Write 8–12 minute YouTube scripts (1,200–1,500 words). • Topics include: o US ancestral cultures and indigenous peoples. o Life in North America before the conquest. o Traditions, spirituality, and cultural roots. o Historical events that shaped early America. • Scripts must be structured so a video editor using AI tools can quickly match narration to visuals. • Ensure the script is ready-to-use for AI video editors: o Conversational tone, easy to narrate. o Short sentences and paragraphs for smooth pacing. o Clear scene/sequencing markers when needed. • Deliver 1–2 scripts weekly. • Turn complex history into engaging storytelling with hooks, cliffhangers, and emotional appeal. Requirements: • Native English (US preferred). • Proven experience writing scripts for YouTube channels. • Deep UNDERSTANDING of audience RETENTION and WATCH time strategies. • Creativity + speed (able to research trending topics quickly). • Portfolio with YouTube scripts or similar storytelling content. Nice to Have (bonus): • Knowledge of YouTube analytics (CTR, AVD, RPM). • Experience with faceless or documentary-style YouTube channels. • Ability to suggest content ideas and titles.
