ā¢ What You'll Do
ā¢ Develop and conduct group yoga sessions and model yoga positions, breathing, stretches, and
mindfulness techniques
ā¢ Create an engaging, therapeutic atmosphere conducive to the development of recovery skills
ā¢ Encourage clients to engage, cultivating mindfulness and self - love, awareness, and control
ā¢ Collaborate with extended clinical team to track client progress and ensure coordination of care
ā¢ Maintain complete documentation of all sessions conducted, and client challenges and progress
ā¢ Model all recovery principles such as honesty, integrity and compassion in all client interactions
ā¢ What We're Looking For
ā¢ High School diploma/ GED preferred
ā¢ Min. one year experience in treatment industry preferred
ā¢ Valid yoga instruction certification
ā¢ Excellent interpersonal, observational, and communication skills
ā¢ Strong flexibility, collaboration, and motivational skills
ā¢ Where You'll Work
Avenues Recovery Center at Bucks is a community-based, residential-style outpatient drug and
alcohol rehab program offering partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment services.
This facility partners exclusively with Crosswalk Sober Living - a collection of luxurious sober living
homes - to give clients the opportunity to engage in treatment while residing in a beautiful domestic
setting with 24/7 supervision and care. Avenues is staffed by skilled and passionate therapists, nurse
practitioners, addiction counselors and behavioral health technicians who work tirelessly to give
each client the most rewarding, effective treatment experience.
