Writer (Remote)
Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Grant Writer to support workforce development initiatives within the energy sector across New Jersey and New York. This role will play a key part in identifying funding opportunities and developing high-quality proposals that align with strategic workforce and talent development goals.
ā¢ Research and identify grant opportunities related to workforce development, clean energy, utilities, and skilled trades across federal, New Jersey, and New York funding sources
ā¢ Monitor grant portals (e.g., Grants.gov, state agencies, foundations) to track upcoming opportunities and deadlines
ā¢ Evaluate funding opportunities for alignment with organizational workforce initiatives and priorities
ā¢ Lead the writing, development, and submission of grant proposals, including narratives, budgets, and required documentation
ā¢ Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather program details, workforce data, and impact metrics
ā¢ Maintain a pipeline and tracking system for grant opportunities, submissions, and outcomes
ā¢ Support post-award reporting and compliance requirements as needed
Qualifications:
ā¢ Proven experience researching and writing successful grant proposals
ā¢ Background in workforce development, energy, infrastructure, or education-related programs preferred
ā¢ Familiarity with federal and state grant funding processes
ā¢ Strong research, writing, and project management skills
ā¢ Ability to translate technical or workforce initiatives into clear, compelling proposals
ā¢ Experience working with public sector or utility-related programs is a plus

Pay Range: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
