Position: Workers' Compensation Attorney (Remote hybrid!)
Job Description
Immediate opening for an experienced Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney with 5+ years of defense experience for a highly respected, multi-state litigation firm. This position is for the firm's office in Farmington Hills, MI. This is a fantastic opportunity with a hybrid schedule that offers attorneys the ability to work remotely from home part of the week!
Candidate must be licensed to practice law in Michigan!
Ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials with a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, be admitted to practice in Michigan, have a small portable book of business, and a proven track record in:
• Prior experience handling workers' compensation defense files from beginning to end;
• A self-starter capable of handling a full case load;
• Experience handling mediations and taking depositions;
• Embracing and developing client relationships;
• Ability to frequently and directly communicate with clients;
• Excellent verbal and written skills;
• Accurately report time; and
• Generating business for the firm.
• Portable book of business required. Salary commensurate with experience!
