Job Overview: General Tutoring - All Subjects - Part-Time SEEKING TUTORS FOR THE FOLLOWING SUBJECTS BUT NOT LIMITED TO: All subjects for high school, middle or junior high and elementary students. Our students need help in math and science concepts such as general math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Physics, Chemistry and Biology , so experience and knowledge in local curriculum is helpful. We also tutor students in Language Arts , reading, decoding, reading comprehension and writing . Some students need Reading Intervention , Math Intervention , and LD Strategies so if you have specialized training in these areas please apply. Foreign language and ESL is another subject area in which we support our students, including tutoring for Spanish, French, German, and Latin. Tutor Doctor tutors for test prep too such as ACT/ SAT, ISEE and certain graduate entrance exams. RESPONSIBILITIES Be able to provide a session report for our office and families within twenty-four hours of each tutoring session Effectively balance tutoring hours given for each assigned student Successfully and professionally teach students to fit their individual needs Service existing clients' concerns, questions, and requests Follow-up with office when a student’s enrollment package is low on hours Candidates must only service students whose needs meet theirs MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 2 years of experience in the education field and industry preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring/teaching in specialized education fields preferred Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees are a plus but not a requirement Experience with basic Database/ Data Entry Be able to prepare accordingly for each tutoring session (lesson plan) Having a personality that is suited for different types of students Strong administration skills Strong typing, PC and recording skills Having reliable transportation with current car insurance is a must Access to the internet, a computer, and a smart phone COMPENSATION Competitive: Competitive hourly rates based on experience and qualifications Expected salary : Location : Mount Juliet, TN Apply Job! Don't Hesitate, Apply!Don't worry if you don't meet every single requirement.
