Position: Remote Intervention Specialist
Location: Ohio (Fully Remote)
Job Type: Part-Time (30 hours/week)
About the Role:
VocoVision is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Intervention Specialist to join our remote workforce. This role offers the flexibility to work from home while making a significant impact on students' educational outcomes. You will provide direct support to students through virtual interventions, working with a variety of learning needs.
Responsibilities:
Provide remote, one-on-one or small group interventions for students in Ohio schools.
Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and tailored support strategies for students with diverse learning needs.
Monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure academic success.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff to align support strategies.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and interventions.
Use various educational technologies and tools to support student learning remotely.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
Ohio licensure as an Intervention Specialist (or eligibility for licensure).
Experience working with students who have a variety of learning disabilities or needs.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Familiarity with virtual learning platforms and tools is preferred.
Experience with IEPs and individualized instruction is a must.
