Position Details:
Type: Full-Time Remote Contract (1099)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Caseload: Kindergarten through 12th grade
Start Date: Immediate, with potential for renewal
Compensation: $32-$37/hour (negotiable based on experience and district needs)
What You'll Do:
Provide customized instruction to meet the needs of students with diverse abilities.
Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate academic and functional skills.
Develop and oversee IEPs and participate in virtual meetings with educators and families.
Use innovative strategies to support learning in a remote environment, ensuring student engagement.
Regularly document student progress and maintain accurate records for compliance.
What Were Looking For:
Special Education Certification for Washington State (required)
Proficiency in using virtual platforms and tools for teletherapy (training provided if needed)
At least two years of experience in special education
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
