Serves as point of contact for visitors to the Portage Central High School building. Assists visitors with the purchase of athletic tickets and musical tickets. Assist students with the purchase of student parking passes. Assists in assembling/hanging materials on bulletin boards and keeping displays current. May escort children to and from various rooms in school building. Tutor students individually or in small groups to reinforce and follow up learning activity. Files, types or uses copy machine. Assists in administering pre and post-testing as needed. Monitors student hallway activity. Keeps daily logs for every student and monitors daily. Performs other duties as assigned. Regular and consistent attendance Must have knowledge of and comply with the policies and procedures contained in the Portage Public Schools Employee Handbook. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: High school diploma or equivalent Must meet the definition of Highly Qualified as defined by the Elementary and Secondary Education Act by possessing one or more of the following: a. Associate's Degree (or higher) b. Sixty (60) or more semester hours of college credit from a degree granting institution c.
