Key Responsibilities
Ā Transcribe audio recordings from depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings with a high degree of accuracy.
Ā Strictly follow client-specific style guides and deadlines to produce verbatim transcripts.
Ā Collaborate effectively with our supportive in-office team when needed, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of all legal documents.
Required Skills
Ā Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription is essential.
Ā Exceptional listening skills to accurately capture spoken content.
Ā Strong literacy skills, including proficiency in spelling, grammar, and comprehension.
Ā Ability to work collaboratively in a remote setting.
Ā High typing proficiency with a focus on speed and accuracy.
Ā Capability to process sensitive audio/text content, which may include challenging material.
Ā Familiarity with legal terminology is critical.
Ā Candidates must pass a background check.
Ā Students pursuing court reporting will also be considered.
