Key Responsibilities
Ā Transcribe depositions, hearings, and various judicial proceedings.
Ā Process audio recordings with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring adherence to established style guides for verbatim transcripts.
Ā Collaborate effectively with our in-office team for guidance and support when needed.
Required Skills
Ā Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription.
Ā Exceptional listening and comprehension skills.
Ā Strong literacy skills, including grammar and spelling proficiency.
Ā Ability to meet deadlines and follow client-specific style guides.
Ā High typing proficiency, both in speed and accuracy.
Ā Familiarity with legal terminology is essential.
Ā Capability to handle sensitive audio/text content (may contain offensive material).
Ā Must pass a background check.
Ā Court reporting students are also encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
Ā Significant experience in legal transcription is required.
