Job Details:
• Location: Edinburgh, UK
• Hybrid: This role requires the student to work full time either in a hybrid or onsite throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term.
• Start date: June 1 2025

What You Will Be Doing:

Do you want to help improve experiences of groundbreaking AMD products? If so, AMD
Hardware team is the right place for you. We are seeking a highly motivated Hardware
Engineering intern/co-op and in this role:
• You will collaborate with Engineers and be responsible for some of AMD's discrete and embedded hardware products
• We will train you to build applications for external and internal use as well as large scale systems that improve the efficiency of AMD Hardware organization

Who We Are Looking For:
• You are currently enrolled in a UK based University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field
• If you have knowledge / experience with any of the following technical skills (or
related areas) and are enthusiastic about this role, we really encourage you to
apply
• Experience/Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing Algorithms and Advanced Communications Standards.
• Digital logic design, RTL coding and verification.
• High-level language programming and scripting (Python, Java, C, etc. ) or HDL (Verilog)
• Familiarity with Xilinx Vivado and SDK as well as 3rd party logic simulator
