We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall accounting processes. Duties
 Assist in maintaining the general ledger by recording financial transactions accurately and timely.
 Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
 Support budgeting activities by tracking expenses against budgeted amounts.
 Utilize financial software such as QuickBooks and Xero for various accounting tasks.
 Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks related to accounts payable and receivable.
 Generate financial reports and assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
 Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) in all accounting practices.
 Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial data for reporting purposes.
Requirements
 Proficiency in accounting principles, including general ledger accounting.
 Experience with financial software, particularly QuickBooks and Xero, is highly desirable.
 Strong skills in budgeting and financial report writing.
 Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
 Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
 Familiarity with 10 key typing for efficient data entry tasks.
 A degree or coursework in accounting or finance is preferred but not mandatory.
