We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Editor/Production Coordinator. The ideal candidate will work closely with the production, editing, and post-production teams to ensure all content is processed and delivered on time and in the correct formats.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS ROLE REQUIRES ON-SITE, FULL TIME WORK IN OUR HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA OFFICE.
What you will do:
• Manage daily content workflows including downloading, organizing, and delivering video assets for on-air promos and digital platforms.
• Coordinate the creation and distribution of deliverables (ProRes files, viewing files, social media assets with captions) to appropriate platforms and backup systems.
• Oversee file management on various servers and cloud systems and ensure assets are properly archived.
• Work with the post-production team to ensure that all deliverables meet broadcast standards and deadlines.
• Maintain communication with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of final deliverables.
• Perform administrative tasks, including: maintaining the editorial calendar and other tracking documents
About you:
• Prior experience in television production, post-production, or media coordination preferred.
• 2+ Years of Professional Video Editorial experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere) and file management systems (e.g., Wiredrive, Nexis, Extreme Reach, G-Drive, Sharepoint).
• Understanding of frame rates, conversions, and codecs.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with broadcast and digital media workflows.
• Technical troubleshooting skills, particularly related to media asset delivery and management.
• Available to work long hours when needed, especially under tight deadlines
