In this role as an Administrative Associate I, you will serve as the Administrative/front-end main point of contact for the Request Fulfillment team for DIT. This position communicates with internal and external customers and vendors in person, over the phone, via email, and messaging (Microsoft Teams and WebEx). The position requires knowledge of the office or work unit policies and procedures to communicate information involving programs, functions, and services. Duties may include preparing documents and reports, using office technology, compiling records, organizing and maintaining files, posting information, greeting, referring, assisting visitors, mail distribution, and photocopying.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Communicate effectively with State Agencies, K-12 schools and universities, boards and commissions, vendors, and internal customers
• Service Now Task/Incident Management; managing and assigning ServiceNow tasks, completing on and off-boarding billing remove tasks, new address tasks, account code and name change requests
• Respond to inquiries from agencies for information concerning processes and procedures
• Creating, processing, and maintaining reports
• Additional charges and credits for billing, SDN/Long Distance, cabling update reports, and vendor confirmations
• Answer all calls that come into Request Fulfillment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies
• Experience with ServiceNow assigning and managing tasks and/or tracking workflows
• Experience with billing portals and/or report creation and management
• Experience with database management, ensuring accuracy in documentation and reporting
• Experience managing data in Sharepoint

The following Management Preferences are not required, but applicants that possess these skills are preferred:
• Two years of customer service experience
• One to three years of recent accounting, computer science, and telecommunications experience

High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
