Work Day HCM Functional/Technical Consultant
WD HCM Functional Consultant - Oil & Gas.
• Exposure and knowledge of Oil & Gas related HR business processes (Hire to Retire) globally to
increase efficiency, speed of delivery, and consistency of experience.
• Deep domain knowledge in Upstream and Downstream process and process improvement
areas.
• Provide suggestions and input in increased employee engagement with easy access to a mobile,
consumer-grade technology experience in Workday and that relates to Workday HCM.
• Be aware of challenges and opportunities within HR scope for oil and gas industry.
• Recommend and implement new or improved systems or processes to help support business
growth/goals
• Identify strategies, risks, and options; recommend approaches and mitigations to meet
HR/functional requirements
• Guide and document processes and HR/functional requirements
• Partnering with change management teams to plan and execute proposals and prioritize
enhancements
• Supporting the wider HCM team, maintaining and troubleshooting downstream integrations
• Maintaining data integrity by proactively conducting audits and analyzing transactions
• Work with other IT functional, technical teams to resolve issues.
• Deep knowledge of Workday business processes, and configurations across all modules of WD
HCM
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Capital Management (HCM), including recruitment
and onboarding modules implementation experience within the last 3 years, and exposure to
integrations.
WD HCM Technical Consultant (focus on Integration / Reporting) - Oil & Gas.
• Workday Adaptive Planning experience for budgeting, planning, and reporting (e.g., headcount)
application for Oil & Gas domain.
• Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating the Workday cloud
application with external applications across a wide array of HCM module
• Design, build, and support testing of Workday integration code base including Studio, EIB and
supporting 3rd party coding
• Collaborate with client and 3rd parties to develop technical solutions that support business
processes
• Closely follow the strategic direction set by client leadership when establishing Workday project
goals
• Collaborate with client counterparts to deliver shared objectives (including design and build
activities)
• Responsible for timely identification and escalation of risks and development of alternative
technical and functional approaches when necessary.
• Comprehend data integrations from point-to-point systems as well as services.
• Nice to have -domain knowledge in Upstream and Downstream process and its integration
components and vendors.
• Timely access to key operating and financial metrics and a planning and reporting solution that
delivers accuracy, data integrity, and the ability to frequently reforecast and perform what-if
analyses.
