WordPress / WooCommerce Developer (Ongoing – Part-Time, Remote)
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and experienced WordPress/WooCommerce developer to support and continuously improve our e-commerce website.
This is an ongoing, part-time role (approx. 5–10 hours per week) for someone who can make updates quickly, keep the site running smoothly, and proactively improve performance and user experience.
We are a fast-growing wellness company, so attention to detail and responsiveness are very important.
Responsibilities
• Maintain and update WordPress & WooCommerce (plugins, themes, security)
• Troubleshoot website issues (checkout errors, payment issues, bugs)
• Improve website speed, performance, and UX
• Implement new features, plugins, and integrations
• Optimize conversion (checkout flow, product pages, etc.)
• Ensure site stability during updates (no downtime / no breaking things)
Skills
• Strong experience with WordPress + WooCommerce
• Experience with plugin conflicts, payment gateways, and troubleshooting
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and PHP
• Experience with site speed optimization (important)
• Ability to communicate clearly and respond quickly
• Reliable and detail-oriented
Nice to Have
• Experience with Wholesale Suite, B2B plugins, or subscription systems
• Experience with SEO optimization
• Experience with Zapier / integrations / AI
Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
