WordPress Developer Needed for Complex Site Build + Migration (10–12 Week Project)

We’re hiring a senior WordPress developer to work closely with me on a full site build and content migration that includes custom functionality. This is a defined build. Strategy, wireframes, and page structure are already complete. The work is execution-heavy and will involve custom development for interactive features. Project Overview Platform: WordPress Scope: 17–18 pages Timeline: 10–12 weeks Phase: Setup & Build Includes custom-coded maps and calendar functionality What You’ll Be Responsible For Build pages from provided wireframes Develop reusable page templates and components Transfer and restructure content from an existing site Custom development for: Interactive maps (filtering, locations, dynamic display) Event calendars (views, filtering, date logic) Implement forms and standard integrations Ensure responsiveness, performance, and clean structure QA and cross-browser testing Weekly progress updates and milestone check-ins Required Experience Strong WordPress development background Comfortable writing custom PHP, JavaScript, and CSS Experience building custom maps (Google Maps, Mapbox, or similar) Experience building or extending calendar/event systems Ability to work from wireframes without design interpretation Experience with content migrations Organized, communicative, and deadline-driven Bonus (nice to have): Membership or gated-content experience API integrations Performance optimization and security hardening Working Style You’ll work directly with me Clear scope and expectations Structured milestones No hand-holding This is not a theme-tweak or plugin-only role Apply tot his job
