Also supports the organization with technical expertise in prioritized projects and collaborates across the organisation with second-line support, development, infrastructure, cloud, network teams and the incident managers. Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain Windows-based infrastructure solutions to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
Automation: Develop and manage automation scripts using Ansible and Terraform to streamline infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management.
Version Control: Utilize GitHub for version control, collaboration, and code review processes.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
On-Call Support: Provide on-call support for critical infrastructure issues, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal downtime.
Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to align infrastructure solutions with business requirements and best practices.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures. Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Windows infrastructure engineering, with a focus on automation and cloud technologies.
Technical education – University or related
Proficiency in Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure automation.
Strong knowledge of GitHub for version control and collaboration.
Experience with monitoring tools and techniques.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, similar are a plus.
Soft Skills: Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving
Excellent communication and writing skills in English Tech stack & tools:
VMware
Windows OS solid knowledge
Powershell scripting
ServiceNow
Ansible/Terraform
Splunk
Jira, Confluence
