Job Posting: West Virginia General Education Teacher
Location: West Virginia Teaching Certification Required
Position: Full-Time Contract (Remainder of 2024/2025 School Year)
Key Responsibilities:
Ā Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans for students with diverse needs, using ABA principles.
Ā Collaborate with classroom staff, including paraprofessionals, to ensure effective support for students.
Ā Provide direct instruction and support to a caseload of 12 high school students with varying disabilities.
Ā Track and analyze student progress, adjusting strategies to maximize student growth and success.
Ā Work closely with parents, administrators, and other support staff to promote positive outcomes for students.
Ā Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages social, emotional, and academic growth.
Requirements:
Ā West Virginia General Educator Teaching License
Ā Core Subjects
Ā Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ā The ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and paraprofessionals.
Ā Must be authorized to work within the United States.
