Description
West Cary Group is seeking an experienced Senior Copywriter to add to our team. Youâll write compelling, user-friendly messaging across multiple channels and audiencesâeverything from straightforward emails to strategic thought leadership pieces. Help us craft marketing campaign materials and more that exude brand voice yet are clear in their messaging. Role Qualifications and Position ResponsibilitiesBring original copy ideas to life, capturing the target audience's attention, motivating action, and driving the clientâs business forwardClearly present creative strategy to clients, standing in for senior creative leadership when necessary and own the ability to walk through an entire creative campaignBrainstorm thought leadership concepts one day and tackle detail-oriented projects the next Proactively offer guidance and direction to other copywriters when necessaryDevelop a deep understanding of the client and their services Create and present messaging strategy that enhances clientâs brand identityWork closely with Art Directors and other creatives to create visual and verbal harmonBalance client feedback with proven strategy to put forth the strongest possible creativeCheck questionable detailsConsider laws governing copy, such as registered and trademarked symbols, country of origin and material constructionStay abreast of marketing trends, innovations and successes Write consistently in brand voice with an eye for nuance across audiences and lanes of business Demonstrate attention to detail by using the creative brief and research to meet the clientâs needsManage your time effectively, handling multiple deadlines and priorities, sometimes on short timelinesDemonstrate pride in the quality of your workHave experience as a people managerOther duties as assigned
Requirements
A Bachelorâs degree or a combination of education and professional experience is required. 5+ yearsâ writing experience in advertising or related field, including graduate advertising program or portfolio schoolAbility to read, analyze and interpret all forms of informationAbility to write for a variety of media and audiencesExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skillsAbility to seek out and learn from feedbackMust be well organized and detail-orientedMust be team-oriented but able to work independently Must demonstrate tact and diplomacyAbility to prioritize tasks and multi-taskMust approach work with a collaborative, solution-oriented attitudeAbility to take ownership of a project from kickoff to handoffExperience working in a Mac-based environment
Salary Description
Annual Salary Range $94,500 to $104,000
