JOB OVERVIEWThe Welcome Center Attendant / Gate Keeper is responsible for the overall welcoming of hotel guests and for monitoring the entrance of Cliff House, and controlling traffic flows of incoming and exiting vehicles.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Welcome guestsDetect and resolve immediate safety issues; respond to the scene of an incident and act as an emergency first responder if required.Control the incoming traffic ensuring our guests are identified and welcomed to Cliff House.Maintain accurate notes and log information as required; ensure that all pass-on information is communicated to the next shift.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSEffective Communication skills both verbal and writtenAbility to stand/sit for up to 8 hours a shiftAbility to address concerns from incoming guests without reservationsPrevious security experience a plusAbility to work weekends and holidaysNEEDED ATTRIBUTES:Employees must fulfill their performance standards for this position and comply with policies, rules and procedures of the Hotel, including those set out in the Employee Handbook or otherwise communicated (verbally or in writing) to employees.
