Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Website Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in website design and editing, with proficiency in WordPress, Google Analytics, Microsoft Center, and other major website builders. This individual will play a crucial role in providing ongoing support to ensure the optimal functionality, design, and user experience of our websites.
Responsibilities:
Website Design and Editing:
• Create visually appealing and user-friendly website designs.
• Implement design changes, updates, and enhancements using WordPress and other major website builders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand design requirements and objectives.
Content Management:
• Update and manage website content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Utilize design tools to enhance visual elements and overall aesthetics.
• Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across the website.
Troubleshooting and Technical Support:
• Identify and resolve website issues promptly.
• Provide technical support for website-related inquiries.
• Collaborate with developers and IT teams to address complex technical challenges.
User Training and Documentation:
• Conduct training sessions for internal users on website management.
• Develop documentation and tutorials for website-related processes.
• Assist users in understanding and utilizing website features effectively.
Quality Assurance:
• Perform regular website audits to identify and address any issues.
• Conduct testing to ensure compatibility with various browsers and devices.
• Implement best practices for website performance and security.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in website design and editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing past projects.
• Proficiency in WordPress and other major website builders (e.g., Wix, Squarespace).
• Solid understanding of design principles, user experience, and responsive design.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to address technical challenges.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and website analytics.
• Experience in training and supporting end-users.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Web Design, Graphic Design) preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in website design and support.
