About Somnia:Web3 has created a new era of decentralized finance, democratizing financial access. However, it has fallen short in generating mass consumer applications and remains largely centered around finance. We believe blockchain technology is a cornerstone for the future of new, open Internet applications.Today, there are limits to what you can build on-chain. Many factors constrain this, from the cost of running applications to the fundamental performance limitations of existing blockchains. We believe that new technologies can unlock a new class of real-time applications that normally must be built on Web2 foundations. Enabling these systems to be built on-chain will allow the free movement of businesses and users between online platforms, creating what we call a true virtual society.We are building Somnia, a fast and cost-effective EVM-based blockchain, to achieve this. Somnia is a layer-one blockchain with full EVM compatibility, capable of processing over 400,000 transactions per second with sub-second latency and low fees. This will unlock a new wave of on-chain applications. Initially, we are focusing on gaming, metaverse, and social experiences. But we are not even 100% certain of what can be built with the technology we are creating.Somnia is being developed by Virtual Society Foundation, an independent organisation initiated by Improbable, a British start-up that has been at the forefront of building virtual worlds for over a decade. VSF received initial funding from MSquared, which raised $150 million in funding from a16z crypto, SoftBank, Mirana Ventures, CMT Digital, and SIG.About the Role: We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Digital Marketing Manager to lead our company's digital presence and marketing initiatives in the web3 space. This role will be responsible for overseeing our website, coordinating with advertising specialists, implementing SEO strategies, and ensuring our company is effectively positioned across all digital channels. The ideal candidate will combine web3 knowledge with digital marketing expertise to drive awareness, engagement, and growth for our brand. This role requires a strategic and hands-on approach, blending brand positioning, digital marketing, content strategy, and community engagement to establish Somnia’s presence in the Web3 space.Key Responsibilities:Website: Oversee the management, maintenance, and ongoing optimization of our websiteCollaborate with developers and designers to implement new features, UI/UX improvements, and content updates;Monitor website performance metrics and recommend improvements;Ensure the website aligns with our brand identity and effectively communicates our technology.Ads & SEO:Collaborate with advertising specialists to develop and execute paid digital campaigns;Help define target audiences, messaging, and channel strategy;Work with an SEO partner to develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies.Content & Social Media Campaigns: Work with the to Content team to craft effective content strategies, ensure its execution, and track performances;Work with the content team to design and run digital campaigns across Web3-native platforms such as X, Discord, Telegram, Farcaster; Enhance the marketing funnel by tracking and improving conversion rates, ensuring a seamless experience from awareness to adoption.Web3 Presence & Brand:Ensure our brand is well-positioned within in the Web3 space; Stay current with Web3 marketing trends and best practices;Identify innovative digital marketing opportunities specific to the web3 community.Requirements:You need to be somewhat Web3 native and understand the Web3 community well;At least 3 years of experience in Web3 marketing with proven track record of executing successful digital marketing and community campaigns;2-3+ years of experience in brand positioning, website management and performance optimization;Data-driven approach to identifying opportunities, optimizing campaigns and solving marketing challenges;Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical conceptsMAbility to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.We are fully remote, but looking for someone in Europe or Asia. Please mention the word **ASSURE** and tag RMzguNjguMTM0LjE5NA== when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMzguNjguMTM0LjE5NA==).
