Position: Web Developer Full Time / Remote View Position Location: St. Louis ---Web Developer---- -# Web Developer • * Full Time / Remote / St Louis, MO**## Position Overview The Web Developer at Vinnie Mac Restoration Marketing will be responsible for the front-end development of client websites as well as providing ongoing support for existing websites. You'll design and develop Word Press websites for water damage, fire, and mold restoration contractors across the country, while working closely with our SEO team to enhance the technical aspects and accessibility of client websites. This role combines web development, technical SEO implementation, and ongoing website maintenance to help our restoration clients establish a strong online presence that generates qualified leads.## Job Responsibilities • * Website Development & Design: • ** Design and develop websites for restoration clients on Word Press • Design landing pages for campaigns as needed • Manage and maintain existing websites for ongoing support and changes • Add content to existing websites for on-page SEO efforts • Publish monthly blog posts for clients • * Technical SEO Implementation: • ** Run technical SEO audits on websites and implement the needed changes • Work with the SEO team to further enhance the technical aspects and accessibility of existing client websites • Assist in client SEO campaigns including implementation of strategy, monthly reporting, and tracking for new opportunities • Ensure websites follow SEO best practices for restoration industry clients • * Team Collaboration: • ** Daily communication with team on progress of tasks • Attend daily huddle for status updates • Collaborate with SEO, PPC, and content teams to ensure cohesive client strategies## Key Requirements • * Technical Skills: • ** Knowledge of Word Press development and customization • Knowledge of HTML/CSS/Java Script • Knowledge of cloud hosting and backend website development • Knowledge of SEO best practices and how they apply to web development • Understanding of technical SEO elements (site speed, mobile optimization, crawlability, indexing, etc.) • * Soft Skills: • ** Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple client projects • Effective time management and personal accountability • Ability to have fun and learn new things • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities • * Bonus Skills: • ** Experience with home services, contractors, or emergency services industries • Experience with Word Press page builders (Elementor, Divi, etc.) • Experience with technical SEO tools and audit platforms • Understanding of conversion optimization and user experience design## Benefits & Perks • 2 weeks PTO, plus paid US holidays • 100% remote work with flexible schedule within core hours • 401k - 4% matching • Direct access to leadership and a supportive team environment • Professional development opportunities • Positive work culture committed to helping employees grow within their roles • Work-life balance focus - we don't want anyone to burn out • * Work Culture: • * This position comes with a lot of ownership and accountability, mixed with the support of our operations team and other specialists.
