Role Overview
We're looking for a stellar digital copywriter/content maestro to join our team. We are a team of strategic and creative thinkers, looking for the same. You have a knack for turning complex, technical topics into clear, engaging narratives and creating conversational, user-friendly website copy that aligns with our brand's tone and voice. And you know how to think outside the box, collaborate with stakeholders, understand brand messaging, and integrate SEO and UX best practices into impactful web content.
Key Responsibilities
Elevate digital narrative.
? Content creation: Create high-quality, engaging website copy that translates complex, technical concepts into clear, user-friendly narratives.
? Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, design, development, and product teams, to create cohesive website content.
Boost engagement and conversion.
? SEO optimization: Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings without compromising the quality of content or user experience.
? UX and Content Strategy: Provide input and recommendations on user experience and content strategy to enhance audience engagement and conversion.
Extend our brand and drive consistency.
? Brand Alignment: Ensure all website copy reflects the brand's voice, tone, and messaging while resonating with the target audience.
? Content Updates: Regularly review and update web content to ensure accuracy, relevancy, and alignment with business goals.
? Stakeholder Communication: Incorporate feedback from stakeholders while maintaining consistency and clarity in messaging.
Skills and Qualifications
? Experience writing for technical or B2B industries is preferred, but not required.
? Writing for conversion across organic and paid channels.
? Background in copywriting, content strategy, and digital marketing is preferred.
? Familiarity with web analytics and performance metrics to guide content improvements.
? Proven experience as a Digital Copywriter and strategist or similar role.
? Strong ability to simplify and explain technical or complex topics engagingly.
? Exceptional writing and editing skills with a focus on creating conversational, audience-focused copy.
? In-depth understanding of SEO principles and their application in web copy.
? Familiarity with UX best practices and the ability to integrate these into content strategy.
? Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with various stakeholders and external agencies.
? Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The compensation range reflects the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. 8x8 has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate's primary work location. Further, individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, knowledge, success, education and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including discretionary merit increases, bonus and/or stock. Certain roles have the opportunity to earn sales variable compensation incentives based on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
Salary Ranges:
$72,375.00 - $120,625.00
