We believe everyone can benefit from professional advice and, as our clients’ advocate, we help them make informed financial decisions so they can live a fulfilling life.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Build and deliver training to advisors and wealth teams nationwide to ensure more extensive understanding of advanced planning topicsConsult with advisors to demonstrate their value to prospects and clients by leveraging technology to model scenarios and planning strategies pertaining to tax and estate planning-related topicsProvide strategic coaching and consulting to advisors that is aligned with their top growth goalsPeriodically join advisors in meetings with clients and prospects to present advanced planning strategiesSupport Practice Management’s ongoing training and development activity through the preparation of presentations and webinarsBe a go-to-resource for a broad range of questions pertaining to various aspects of advanced planning and provide support as needed to address incoming advisor requestsHelp advisors to demonstrate their value to prospects and clients by leveraging technology to advanced planning scenariosSupport Practice Management’s training and development activity through the preparation of collateral materials, presentations, and webinars Promote the delivery of comprehensive wealth management including Mariner Investment Banking, National Tax Services, Insurance Resources, Mariner Institutional, and Mariner Trust & Estate PlanningHelp advisors to successfully articulate and implement the service offering for various niche market strategies (i.e., corporate executives, business owners, physicians, etc.)Help wealth teams increase efficiency by driving adoption of new technology, advisory solutions and processesQUALIFICATIONS:Minimum 7-10 years industry experienceIntellectual curiosity; Demonstrate a passion for ongoing learningOpenness to new ideas and new ways of doing thingsExcellent written and verbal communicationDetail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlinesAbility to change direction quickly while remaining focused and productiveCollaborative; cultivates strong authentic relationships inside and outside the group; willingness and desire to work across organizational silosStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointAt least one of the following is required: CPA, EA, JD, CFP®Proficiency in eMoney is highly desirable, Experience with Nitrogen (Riskalyze), Holistiplan, Vanilla is desiredWe welcome your interest in being a part of the Mariner Wealth Advisors team. The base pay for this position across all US geographic markets ranges from $140,000/year to $170,000/year. Pay is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
