Waste Diversion Specialist (Sales Rep)

Remote Full-time
Description Waste Diversion Sales Representative We're seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Waste Diversion Sales Representative to help businesses rethink how they handle waste — turning it from a liability into a sustainability win. This is a high-impact role at the front line of our growth, and the right candidate will thrive on building relationships, solving complex logistical challenges, and closing deals that make a real environmental difference. What you'll do You'll own the full sales cycle — prospecting, presenting, and closing — with businesses that generate significant volumes of trash, recycling, and construction & demolition (C&D) materials. Working directly with decision-makers, you'll design tailored waste diversion programs that balance environmental responsibility with bottom-line practicality. Your presentations won't just pitch a service; they'll demonstrate measurable value. You'll collaborate closely with our executive team to shape our sales and marketing strategy, bringing ground-level insight from the field into broader company thinking. This is a seat at the table, not just a sales quota to hit. What we bring to the table Our integrated platform sets us apart. We operate our own material recovery facility, run roll-off trucks for direct collection, manage front-load dumpster routes for both recyclable and waste streams, and run tractor-trailer and bale routes. When you make a promise to a client, we have the infrastructure to back it up. How success is measured Performance is evaluated monthly, based on closed revenue and the strength of your pipeline. We believe in transparency, accountability, and rewarding results. Who you are You're a self-starter who can navigate complex buying environments, build trust quickly, and communicate sustainability goals in language that resonates with both operations managers and CFOs. Experience in waste, recycling, logistics, or environmental services is a plus — but a consultative sales mindset and genuine curiosity about waste diversion are what matter most.
