Washington State Medicare Biller - 5+ Years Experience (Fully Remote)
We are looking to hire an experienced Washington State Medicare Biller!
In this position, you will have knowledge in Revenue Cycle duties and workflows specific to Washington State Medicare Billing, as well as industry standards, regulations and laws. You will be responsible for reconciling patient balances, utilize billing processes and practices to maximize reimbursement for services, work accounts receivable aging and claim follow-up, review reports to identify potential problems, process appeals and reconsideration of claims, and assist patients in resolving billing issues.
A great candidate will need to understand insurance language, industry standards, regulations, and laws while being able to convey this information in a clear manner. This requires a strong attention to detail and developed interpersonal skills. We are looking for an individual with at least 1-year of healthcare billing experience, who has worked with a wide variety of insurance portals, and have knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes. Experience in Meditech Expanse is a plus!
Compensation and Benefits:
• Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
• Full-Time, 40 hours per week
• Operating hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm Pacific Standard Time
• Full-Time Benefits include: Medical/Dental/Vision & Basic Life Insurance; eligibility to participate in a 401K Plan, as well as PTO and Sick Time Accrual
• Fully remote but must reside in: Alaska, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, North Dakota, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Vermont, Washington, or Wyoming
