Position overview
Monitor and ensure dealer compliance with PAG/PCNA’s policies and procedures. The auditor present the audit findings to the Porsche Centers. The auditor will communicate best practices and act as trusted advisor to the Porsche Center.
Roles & responsibilities
Responsible to perform Porsche Center warranty, parts, labor and part rate, sales, and CPO and related service operational audits; recommend corrective action where needed within policy guidelines and direction from Manager, Warranty and Compliance for the U.S. Provide cost/volume statistical analysis and administer cost containment programs.
Perform in-dealership compliance reviews of all dealership supporting documents, parts, and accounting data (travel > 50%).
Write warranty compliance audit reports, and action plan to dealer to remedy in-dealership shortcomings as pertaining to warranty, service and parts operation.
Provide training to Porsche Center and field on the Warranty Compliance Review process.
Monitor action plan results and provide ongoing counseling; follow up on implementation with Regional AfterSales Managers and dealerships.
Train Regional AfterSales Managers and dealerships to recognize and correct out-of-line trends and policy non-compliance.
Monitor compliance at the dealer and at PCNA, relating to timely warranty handling, procedures, claim submission, authorizations, parts usage, and disclosure.
Review adherence to and proper application of warranty procedures, submission of warranty transactions, subsequent record keeping at dealer and PCNA level, proper warranty part identification and handling for compliance with PAG.
Compile contact report on dealership warranty compliance review, report findings and action plan to Manager, Warranty Audit and Compliance, the Regional AfterSales Manager, and the respective dealer.
Responsible for the proper usage of, awareness of, and compliance with Information Technology security policies at Porsche Cars North America.
Seeks to ensure proper retention of electronic documents, business confidential information, and actively demonstrates an understanding of the need to safeguard competitive information in both electronic and non-electronic formats.
Qualifications
Education:
College degree in Automotive Technology, Business Administration/Management or equivalent work experience.
ASE certification preferred.
Experience:
5 plus total years of automotive experience.
In-dealership experience with emphasis on business and service department administration.
Experience in dealership warranty processing, claims adjusting, investigation, and warranty policy interpretation.
Automotive technical knowledge and dealer service experience a must (Porsche preferable).
Skills:
Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
Strong presentation skills
Professional appearance and conduct
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs, and dealer management systems
Competencies:
Ability to work independently
Comfortable engaging with dealership executives
High-level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
Analytical
Percentage of required travel: 50%-75%
The salary range for this role is $120,000-$140,000. However, it is important to note that at Porsche, compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset. Porsche reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.
