Freight Handler Key Responsibilities:
Ā Safely load and unload freight using powered equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Ā Organize and prepare freight for storage or shipment according to company procedures and customer orders.
Ā Verify accuracy of freight contents, labels, and documentation to ensure precise outbound shipments.
Ā Replace equipment batteries or LP tanks as needed and maintain power supply for continuous operation.
Ā Identify and report discrepancies such as damaged or missing freight promptly.
Ā Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse facility and equipment, conducting regular inspections.
Ā Assist with inventory management tasks and participate in physical counts as required.
