We are seeking a Network DevOps Architect Principal to be responsible for managing the software development process and creating an automated delivery pipeline that assists in building software more efficiently. The responsibilities of a Principal NetDevOps architect include assessing, supporting, and implementing high-quality information technology architecture specialized in Network Automation. To be successful as a Principal DevOps architect, you should demonstrate a leadership mindset, solid operational experience, and the ability to problem-solve. UA key focus of this role is providing solutions that are robust, scalable, and highly available.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Design and implement network automation platform, establish and improve “Source-of-Truth” job lunching systems
Automate and integrate various network configuration platform from different technologies and hardware vendor solutions for deployment efforts
Provide zero-touch provision and automation for mass deployment efforts
Establish Automation integration for Network Operations from monitoring, fault management, performance optimization, alerting and reporting
Provision, configure and maintain infrastructure for multiple production and test environments
Collaborate with cross functional teams to proactively reduce MTTR or production incidents through automated healing mechanisms and curating health indicators
Troubleshoot issues in real time as part of incident response
Less than 25% ship and shore-based travel
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Math background preferred or equivalent experience
Master's degree in Computer Science preferred
Strong knowledge in Networking OSI model
Strong knowledge is various networking protocols
Awareness and use of security technologies in Networking development
Strong experience with Kubernetes container orchestration and Docker
Strong experience deploying and managing applications to public cloud systems i.e., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform
Strong practical Windows and Linux-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment
Experience building sophisticated and highly automated infrastructure
Prior success in automating a real-world production environment
Experience with SDN Technologies including SD-Access, NSX-T, Velocloud, or VX-LAN
Strong ASP.NET, JavaScript and C# programming skills
Experience with configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible in production environments with many nodes
Experience building CI/CD pipelines with products like TeamCity/Octopus, Jenkins, Bamboo
Strong scripting skills, i.e., PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ruby, Perl, etc.
Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewall
Familiarity with any monitoring tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, Nagios, New Relic
Experience with revision control source code repositories like Git, TFS, SVN, Mercurial
Experience with automated testing tools (ie. Selenium, JMeter)
Understanding and experience with code deployment (tagging)
Understanding of Service-Oriented Engineering (SOA and REST)
Excellent presentation and communication skills required
Ability to collaborate well across geographically diverse teams

Experienced data pipeline builder and data wrangler who enjoys optimizing data systems and building them from the ground up
Self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems, and products
Excited by the prospect of optimizing or even re-designing our company's data architecture to support our next generation of products and data initiatives

The range for this role's base salary is $130,000 - $143,000. Offers to selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.

Holidays - All full-time and part-time with benefits employees receive days off for 7 company-wide holidays, plus an additional floating holiday to be taken at the employee's discretion.
Vacation Time - All full-time employees at the manager and below level start with 14 days/year; director and above level start with 19 days/year. Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 84 hours/year. All employees gain additional vacation time with further tenure.
Sick Time - All full-time employees receive 80 hours of sick time each year. Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 60 hours each year.
