Vulnerability Ops SRE

Description A global organization operating in a complex hybrid cloud environment is expanding its security operations function and is seeking a highly technical senior engineer to drive vulnerability management, automation, and cloud security execution. This role sits at the intersection of security operations and DevSecOps, with responsibility for instrumenting systems, deploying agents, improving visibility, and partnering with engineering teams to remediate risk at scale. What You’ll Tackle • Instrument servers and cloud workloads to improve asset and vulnerability visibility • Deploy and manage vulnerability scanning and security agents across hybrid environments • Execute and analyze vulnerability scans and drive remediation with technical stakeholders • Automate security workflows using Python and infrastructure-as-code approaches • Implement and enhance cloud security services across Azure-based environments • Support hybrid infrastructure spanning cloud and virtualization platforms • Improve operational visibility across compute, identity, and workloads What You Bring • 8+ years of hands-on security engineering or security operations experience • Strong vulnerability management background (enterprise scanning platforms) • Azure cloud security experience in hybrid environments • Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware • Python scripting for automation and operational tooling • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and cloud-native security controls • Ability to work independently and own complex technical initiatives • AWS Experience • CI/CD security integration experience • Infrastructure-as-Code tooling experience • Background in lean or high-growth environments Apply tot his job
