DMM creates groundbreaking social-first marketing campaigns rooted in innovative strategy, and provides clients with community management, creative, video production, influencer, talent, and performance marketing capabilities.We are currently seeking a VP, Talent + Influencer in our Los Angeles office to join our expanding leadership team. This role is responsible for overseeing and uniting two key pillars of DMM services: Talent Services and Influencer Partnerships. The VP, Talent + Influencer will act as a senior thought leader on the DMM Senior Leadership team - collaborating across departments, creating strategic partnerships with our roster of clients and helping develop and evolve the Talent & Influencer solutions.Successful candidates must have eight to ten years of experience in the social media space. Your Impact Bring a deep knowledge and understanding of social marketing across landscape and industry with particular focus in Entertainment, Gaming and SportsAct as a strategic thinker, understanding Talent and Influencer's intrinsic and measurable value while knowing how to seamlessly weave that value into campaigns and pitchesAbility to evangelize these services and sell value to clients in person and within pitchesEntrepreneurial mindset with passion for creating, packaging and selling innovations within the servicesStrong grasp of creator economy, pricing & negotiationsContacts and ties to Hollywood agencies, management, PR and film/tv studiosExperience building and running teams with proof of cost optimizations and evolutionOwn the roster of Talent clients acting as executive oversight and mentorship to teams that lead the day to day workLead a team of social content producers and influencer experts, building best-in-class campaigns that drive successWork with client leads and Strategy team at DMM to build winning pitches for incoming RFPs to secure new business for various departmentsAct as a senior thought leader and stakeholder at DMM, collaborating across the senior leadership team to infuse innovation, education, and experience that elevates and evolves DMM’s client solutionsAct as an executive level strategic partner for clients to devise and implement new and novel strategic opportunitiesDigests and analyzes social media insights and data to make informed strategic decisions Your Experience 8-10 Years of experience in the social media and digital spaceOwn an expert level understanding of talent and influencer marketing with vision to push and evolve the ways they work for clientsAbility to manage senior team members, providing guidance and growthAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentStrong presentation and/or public speaking skillsAdvanced proficiency in building decks via Google Slides or other programsKnowledge of the entertainment landscape in some form: Games, TV, Film, Podcast, Brand etc.Experience working with Video Games is a plusAbility to collaborate and work as part of a team Availability M-F: 9am-6pm PST Additional Information Company culture you ask? Compensation The salary range for this role is $180,000 - $200,000 a yeara year and is based on experience, responsibilities of the position, subject matter expertise and is location specific.We also know how important benefits are to your overall compensation package and take them seriously.
