VP, Strategic Accounts (Fitness Network Partners) - remote opportunity

Description/Responsibilities The Vice President of Strategic Accounts is a senior leadership role responsible for developing, managing, and expanding relationships with the company's largest and most strategic network partners. This executive will drive partnership retention and growth, ensure exceptional partner satisfaction, and align with the evolving needs of partners across the fitness and healthcare industries. This role drives revenue growth, ensures the delivery of world-class fitness benefit solutions tailored to the needs of health plans and their members. Reporting to the President and COO this leader will guide strategic planning for key accounts, collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional service delivery, and oversee a team of strategic account managers. This leader will lead a high-performing team and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver value, innovation, and sustainable growth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Build, maintain, and grow long-term, high-value relationships with key accounts across fitness chains and strategic partners. • Develop and execute strategic account plans that align with customer objectives and drive revenue growth. • Negotiate and manage complex, multi-year contracts with fitness organizations. • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Strategic Account Directors/Managers to achieve individual and team targets. • Partner with marketing, product, operations, and customer success teams to deliver seamless client experiences. • Analyze account performance, market trends, and competitor activity to inform strategic planning. • Serve as an executive sponsor for key accounts, ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction. • Drive contract renewals, upsells, cross-sells, and partnership expansions. • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings as a trusted brand ambassador. • Develop and execute strategic account plans to deliver benefit for Medicare Advantage and commercial health plan partners. • Cultivate and maintain executive-level relationships with internal and external executive decision-makers. • Identify and deliver opportunities to expand program adoption, drive member engagement, and manage contract value through renewals, upsells, and new initiatives. • Lead a team of Strategic Account Managers to deliver on revenue, retention, P&L, and client/partner satisfaction goals. • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, product, marketing, and finance to deliver tailored approaches for each strategic account. • Serve as an executive sponsor for key accounts, ensuring proactive communication, alignment on goals, and rapid resolution of issues. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, strategic account management, or business development, ideally in the fitness, health & wellness, hospitality, or related industries. • Proven track record managing multimillion-dollar accounts and consistently exceeding revenue targets. • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills at all organizational levels. • Strong leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams. • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decision-making. • Demonstrated success in developing and executing long-term partnership strategies aligned with company objectives. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Deep understanding of the fitness industry, its business models, trends, and customer needs. • Executive-level account management of fitness industry relationships • Experience selling or managing SaaS, equipment, or integrated solutions in the health & wellness space. • MBA or advanced degree in business, marketing, or related field. • Skillful negotiator with experience in conflict resolution • Skilled in managing complex partner relationships, resolving escalations, and collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders. • Ability to manage inter-company relationships and appropriately influence others • Strong analytical skills, including market research and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and effective presentation skills are required. • Ability to travel as business needs require (up to 50%) The salary range for this opportunity is $128,600 to $180,000. Compensation depends on several factors: qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
