VP, Quality Assurance, AI Tools
Job Description: • Develop & implement the overall Software Quality strategy in alignment with business goals and client expectations • Establish quality assurance metrics, processes & best practices; present metrics monthly & quarterly to IT leadership • Oversee creation and execution of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts • Ensure implementation of automated testing, regression, performance testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) • Drive implementation of end-to-end test processes and automated testing frameworks • Continuously evaluate and refine QA processes to improve efficiency and quality • Advocate and implement Agile, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment, and DevOps practices • Work closely with developers, product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure clear product quality requirements • Communicate QA findings, progress, and challenges to senior management and cross-functional teams • Provide feedback to development teams on product improvements and areas requiring additional focus • Identify and assess quality risks and develop plans for high-risk or complex testing challenges • Lead, hire, mentor, and develop QA leaders and engineers; foster a collaborative, high-performance QA culture • Provide regular reports on QA status including test coverage, defect ratios & trends, automation trends, and maintain documentation • Understand customer expectations and use feedback to inform quality improvements Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) • 10+ years in QA roles with at least 5 years in a leadership position • Experience in managing large QA teams and implementing end-to-end quality processes • Proficiency in QA tools (e.g., Selenium, qTest, Copilot) and test management/defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira) • Strong knowledge of automation frameworks, performance testing, and continuous integration • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, mentoring staff, and making high-level decisions impacting software quality • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills • Strong knowledge of Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point) (desirable) • Experience in the healthcare and/or pharmaceutical industry (desired) • Experience with Salesforce,.NET, Angular and Data Testing (desired) • Experience implementing & utilizing AI for testing purposes (desired) • Must be authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship/work authorization not available Benefits: • Supportive, progressive, fast-paced environment • Competitive pay structure • Matching 401(k) with immediate vesting • Medical, dental, vision, life, & short-term disability insurance • Equal Opportunity Employer consideration • Employment conditional on successful pre-employment background check • In compliance with federal law, identity and employment eligibility verification required; no sponsorship available Apply tot his job Apply tot his job
